Most girls these days, want a unicorn party.
Or a mermaid.
Or a Moana.
Or a hello kitty.
Or a Frozen.
I have been to a million.
And they’re all pretty stinkin’ cute.
However, Georgia takes the CAKE for most adorable birthday session (and theme), to date. . .
You see, I have always been one of the biggest Blue Angels fans ever.
I mean, ever.
Blue Angels & ((dolphins in the wild))
get me screaming like a small child. . .
[my embarrassed husband can attest]
The roaring sound of freedom.
The daring maneuvers.
I used to get paid, to take photos of them,
the blue angels and (wild) dolphins,
twice weekly, all spring and summer long. . .
And it never got old.
When the weekend rolled around, I still asked to go back.
To see them again.
The fact that this is their home.
Hearing over the loud speakers. .
“NOW PLEASE HELP US, WELCOME HOME, YOUR PENSACOLA BLUE ANGELS!”
sends chills down my spine. . .and has me more prideful than any other event, ever could.
Seeing them on the beach.
Seeing them from the boat.
Seeing them in the stands, at the Naval Aviation museum.
It doesn’t matter to me.
So when Mallory told me Georgia had become super into them as well,
I started counting down the days, until I could shoot these. . .
and they didn’t disappoint.
We shot a few quick ones, here and there, then sat down, and watched the full show.
We covered our ears, as they raced by.
We cheered when they let out “rainbow smoke”
It was seriously, one of the funnest “shows” I have ever been to.
And I’ve been to a ton.
Seeing them, all.
Made me want to go back, again, and again, with my own crew.
And also, order us all these matching suits.
I love my hometown.
I love the blue angels.
& I love this adorable little thing….
