R + T’s wedding day was all the things.
I loved how laid back Raven was, deciding last minute to undo her hair and let it be free.
I also loved how during the ceremony she couldn’t look at Trey, without laughing / crying simultaneously.
I love how Trey, on the other hand laughed hysterically when a bridesmaid showed up for the first look,
and then with that same face, stared through Raven during the ceremony, as if the rest of us weren’t there. . .
Obviously they’re absolutely beautiful on the outsides, but their day was one that only the pretty on the insides can make happen.
A day that was simple, and elegant.
Relaxed but also splendid.
Two people who fell for each other, being celebrated by those who love them most.
#dearjason even showed up, as he & Trey work together and I was mortified when he photobombed the first dance (without knowing it)
The shades were down, so he couldn’t see in, but I could see all 6’4 of him, standing awkwardly, texting me asking how to get in, while I photographed them dancing <3
“I just don’t get it” he said during the reception. . . but he’s not a romantic.
& looking back over these, I lived it all over again, like I hope the two of them will get to do > > >
I literally cried, laughing at the bouquet toss. You can see that look on their faces > > >
(once you see it, you’ll know)
But as with most things, you simply had to be there.
& I am so thankful I was.
Raven + Trey,
Thanks for sharing your BIG day with me.
